We are excited to team up with Woodstock Church of the Nazarene (same location as our recitals) so that we can expand into larger rooms, with potential for more rooms than we currently have. WCN has also recently added a Cafe Space that is perfect for parents to hang out while waiting on lessons. Our new address is- Woodstock Church of the Nazarene: 874 Arnold Mill Road Woodstock, GA 30188 (8 minutes from our previous location)
There will be a few changes to go along with the move so please read the entire email for details.
Scheduling: We are streamlining our scheduling system and instructors will now be in charge of their own schedule. This means that any changes in schedules need to be communicated directly to your instructor. We will still keep the same Holiday Schedule and will continue to offer Group Makeups for any lessons that you are not able to attend. Any lessons missed by the instructor will either have a substitute or the instructor will schedule a makeup as their schedule allows.
Days we will be open- Woodstock is available for us on Monday- 4-8 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 2 PM- 8 PM. These are some of our busiest days so this works out great. However this will mean that will need to make some schedule adjustments for our Thursday and Saturday students. If you were taking music lessons on Thursday or Saturday, please contact your instructor directly via text (fastest) or email at the contacts below. Our students are very important to us and we will do our best to work you in. If we have not heard from you by Jan 2nd we will try to contact you. Please contact your instructor as soon as possible as there are a limited number of lesson times.
**Payments: You will not be charged or registered for lessons until you respond to your invoice from your instructor. We will be using PayPal Direct billing for payments. You will receive an Auto Pay Link (it will say “Subscription”) from your instructor. We will still be monthly with no contracts and there will be no changes in rates. Payments will be automatic and will continue until cancellation, on the date of your first payment. All Payments due by the 1st.
ART LESSONS:
Shawn McCauley will continue teaching his Group Drawing classes on Monday, and Wednesday at the regular times.
Please contact Shawn if you need to change your Class time or are currently enrolled for Tuesdays via text or email at the contact below. Payments and billing will be the same as listed above. Please watch for your Subscription Link from Shawn. We will not be currently offering General Art or Painting Classes. We may offer this again in the future so please watch for future anouncements.
We have a new instructor! Jed Obele is Classically Trained and enjoys playing challenging pieces by Chopin as well as video game music such as Final Fantasy to pop music like Coldplay. He studied as a Piano Performance Major. He will be filling in for Arshia at our new location. We are sad to see Arshia go, but happy that Arshia is doing so well with his video production company and game show. We will miss him!
What do you need to do?
If you are currently taking Music lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, you don’t need to do anything, except respond to the invoice email from your instructor and show up the week of January 7th. (3-4 Monday Students will need to be rescheduled as we start at 4pm on Mondays.)
If you are a Thursday or Saturday Student, please text or call your instructor at the number below. If we have not heard from you by the 2nd your instructor will contact you to verify what time slots are available.
Please contact your instructor as soon as possible as there are a limited number of lesson times.
If Arshia was your Piano instructor on M,TUE ,WED, FRI, we highly recommend that you try lessons with Jed at your regular time. You are already on Jed’s Piano Schedule, all you need to do is watch for his incoming invoice and then show up for your lesson. If you were taking guitar or ukulele from Arshia, please contact Jonathan C. or Jeff P. via text to reserve a slot on their schedule.
John Valentino is only available on Saturday so he will not be teaching at the new location. Please contact Jonathan Cazenave at the contacts below and he will help you get rescheduled.
We will not currently be offering KinderMusic. Please contact Bonnie Bost for her other locations and times.
Kelley will be helping us with the transition the week of the 7th to answer any questions you may have and will then be officially transitioning to Outreach Director. All scheduling will be done directly with your instructor.
2019 is going to be a fantastic year and we are super excited about the larger lesson rooms, easy access to a performance space and a cool cafe with potential expansion into more rooms in the future. Thank you for working with us as we get used to the new systems. We will be bringing in more instructors and will be expanding to more rooms so if you are on our wait list, we should have a slot for you soon.
