Recital Time! It’s Time To Shine!
Canton Music School hosts a music recital and art show twice a year for our students. Nothing gives our music students a sense of accomplishment and appreciation like a a roaring public performance. Our art students get to showcase their work on beautiful displays and receive compliments on their work. We provide food and beverages for the show and admission is included in your monthly tuition.
Although this performance is optional, it is open to all music and art students currently enrolled at Canton Music School.

Tips for Music Students
- Practice, practice, practice! Don’t wait until the last few days to cram! 🙂
- Dress comfortably. There is no dress code at our recitals
- Get a good night’s sleep the night before
- Always remember that people are there to cheer for you and support you no matter what
- Everyone is nervous before they play, always support your fellow performers
- Your first recital is always the hardest, the rest are easy!
A vast majority of our students partake in our music recital, and almost all of our students who perform one recital choose to perform many more. Our recitals are fun, short in length, and a proud display for all of the students and families we serve.
