DRAWING TIPS ….

NEVER RIP PAGES OUT OF YOUR SKETCH BOOK!!! I cannot stress this enough. Do not throw out your drawings. I don’t care how much you hate your drawing. I don’t care how “stupid” or “terrible” you think the drawing is, you have to keep it. Why? Because, even if the drawing is bad, the idea can be terrific. I can’t tell you how many great comic book ideas I’ve gotten by looking at very old (and bad) sketches. If I threw out the sketches I thought were terrible I would of lost that great idea. So keep your sketches, your future self will thank you! Shawn teaches classes in drawing, comics & manga, and photoshop each week!
