Dear Parents and Students,
Each Spring we get asked these questions:
Q: How do lessons work in the summer?
A: We are open year round and continue our private music and group art classes at the same times. Camps are scheduled around the regular classes.
Q: Do a lot of students quit in the summer?
A: Not too many. We also acquire many new students over the summer, some of whom will choose prime time spots to reserve them for fall.
Q: If we withdraw for the summer, can we keep our spot in the fall?
A: No. Lessons are offered on a first come first serve basis. Our most popular lesson times are between 3-7pm. These slots fill quickly- taking lessons at your preferred time over the summer will reserve that time slot for you in the fall.
The big question for all parents and students to consider is:
Do you want to stay with the same teacher at the same time in the fall?
If the answer is yes, there are two ways keep your teacher/ time:
1. Take advantage of our expanded summer make up lessons policy
We realize that many of you will go on vacation for a portion of the summer. We are expanding our makeup policy to include 4 makeups over the 9 week summer. This gives you more flexibility and you still get your full 9 lessons in. As a bonus, we’ll give you a coupon for $25 off any full week art or music camp.
To choose this option, no action is required. Our system will automatically keep you registered at your current day and time.
2. Purchase a Flex Pass
A Flex Pass will get you 7 lessons over the summer. This holds your spot and you just let us know which weeks you’ll be out.
7 music lesson passes are $220; 7 art lesson passes are $130. To purchase, simply reply to this email with “FLEXPASS YES” in the subject line and we’ll add your pass to your account and charge your card on file in lieu of your June tuition. Or simply call us and we’ll handle it over the phone.
If you LOVE your teacher, keep your spot by taking advantage of our expanded summer makeup system or purchasing a flex pass!
Have a great week and please let us know if you have any questions!
