~Teacher Features~

PIANO, GUITAR & VOICE Hi,I’m Briana. I have been teaching for 5 years and have a degree in Music Education. I teach voice, piano, ukulele and guitar with voice and piano as my primary instruments.

DRUM , BASS & GUITARThis is great time to get in some extra play time on your instrument. I teach Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drums and if you are not currently a student of mine, I would love the opportunity to give you a trial lesson so that you can see how much fun it is.

Levi Miller is a singer, songwriter, performer, producer & instrumentalist. He began singing when he was 4 years old, learned how to play guitar at 10 and started writing his own songs shortly after. Not only can he play guitar, but he also taught himself how to play piano and drums as well. In 2014 he had the opportunity to record his first EP in Nashville, TN and began to perform around the Metro-Atlanta area, something he still pursues today. He taught himself how to record & produce music during his senior year of High School and went onto pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production at Full Sail University. Levi is a very passionate musician and is always looking to encourage & help anyone wanting to learn.

Victoria has been both playing the piano and vocalizing for over ten years. She holds both a Bachelor’s of Music from The University of Georgia and a Master’s of Music from The University of Miami. She is passionate about helping musicians of all ages find their unique artistry! When she’s not studying or teaching she enjoys video games and shopping!

Safety precautions are still being enforced with masks and sanitizing rooms. We are sanitizing all our equipment after every lesson. Art classes are adhering to the social distancing guideline along with sanitizing after every class

I’m Jeff Unger and I am a rising Vocal Performance Senior at Reinhardt University. I have been playing guitar since 2009 and singing since 2014. I play and sing anything from Country to Hard Rock and have performed in multiple musicals and opera’s. My goal with my students is to teach them to love music and to help them grow as a performer.

Mr. Jonathan teaches guitar and drums and has 1 opening on Tuesday @ 6:30. Mr. Jonathan teaches Monday-Wednesday with earlier times available as well as some evening times.

Starting July, ART CLASS is returning to in person lessons~

Anime and Manga Art Class — Mr. Shawn will begin back to regularly scheduled art class starting July 1, 2020. Because he will be holding lessons at the Woodstock Church of the Nazarene there are modifications put in place to assure safety to all students.
1.All students are required to wear a mask.
2. We have a larger room for class instruction with accommodations for social distancing.

If your not ready to attend in person class just yet Mr. Shawn is offering his **YOUTUBE** class options on **Tuesday.** For those wanting to continue with online classes contact Mr. Shawn for link or call the academy @770-345-7529 for online class instructions.

Hi! My name is Sarah Nix and I’ve been teaching just over 3 years now at CAA. I teach voice, guitar, ukulele, and piano and my primary instrument is voice. I studied voice at Young Harris College and recently finished school at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods for my equivalency degree in Music Therapy. I love teaching and helping people find their perfect way of communicating through music! It’s so magical to see that unfold right before your eyes. Fun fact, I’m also in an acoustic duo with my fiance and we are call ourselves “Sarah Smiles for Ben”!

Not every piece of art you make has to be a masterpiece. I think one of the leading causes of “Artist’s Block” is the idea that you have to create a beautiful piece of art every time you put pencil to the page. This is not the case. In fact 90% of the time you’re drawing, it should be practice. Practicing hands or faces. Practicing cars or trees. Or practicing a future finished piece of art. If you look at my sketchbook you will find a scribbling mess that only makes sense to me. It’s far from a
masterpiece, but that’s the way it should be.

First, I look to find that FUN song, FUN band, that FUN video game music. From there, it is important to keep that spark that leads the student to find the FUN in playing their instrument at home”
